What iGuy is

iGuy is an AI-powered information aggregation platform designed to help travellers discover restaurants, bars, beaches, nightlife venues and local services in Lloret de Mar, Costa Brava.

Our AI assistant provides curated, contextual guidance based on a continuously updated local knowledge base. iGuy is operated as a digital concierge service — not a travel agency, booking platform, or venue operator.

iGuy es una plataforma de agregación de información con inteligencia artificial diseñada para ayudar a los viajeros a descubrir restaurantes, bares, playas, locales de ocio nocturno y servicios locales en Lloret de Mar, Costa Brava.

Nuestro asistente de IA proporciona orientación curada y contextual basada en una base de conocimiento local actualizada continuamente. iGuy funciona como un servicio de conserjería digital, no como una agencia de viajes, plataforma de reservas u operador de establecimientos.

Technology

iGuy uses large language models (LLMs) including Groq Llama and Google Gemini to generate natural language responses. All venue data is sourced from our proprietary Core Directory and partner agreements.

Terms of Use

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using iGuy ("the Platform", "the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please discontinue use immediately.

2. Nature of the Service — Information Aggregator

iGuy operates exclusively as an information aggregation and AI assistance platform. The Platform:

• Does not own, operate, manage or control any venue listed in its directory.
• Does not act as a booking agent, travel agent, or intermediary for any commercial transaction between users and third-party businesses.
• Does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of any venue information, operating hours, prices, or availability.
• Is not responsible for any experience, purchase, or service obtained at any venue referenced within the Platform.

All affiliate partnerships are disclosed where applicable. Partner placement does not constitute endorsement of quality or safety.

3. AI-Generated Content — Disclaimer

iGuy's responses are generated by artificial intelligence language models. By using this service you explicitly acknowledge and accept that:

• AI responses may contain inaccuracies, hallucinations, or outdated information.
• Information about opening hours, prices, entry requirements, transport or safety conditions may be incorrect or subject to change without notice.
• You should independently verify all critical information before making decisions (bookings, travel plans, safety-related choices).
• iGuy and its operators accept no liability whatsoever for any loss, damage, injury, or inconvenience resulting from reliance on AI-generated content.

4. Partner Venues & Third Parties

iGuy may display promoted content from partner venues. The Platform accepts zero liability for the quality, safety, legality, or performance of any third-party service, product, or establishment referenced on the Platform. Any dispute with a third-party business must be resolved directly with that business.

5. Paid Services & Future Subscriptions

iGuy may in the future introduce premium features including subscription plans, digital passes, or virtual VIP cards ("Premium Services"). Such services will be governed by additional terms presented at the time of purchase. All prices will be displayed in EUR inclusive of applicable VAT. Payments are non-refundable unless required by applicable law.

6. User Conduct

You agree not to use the Platform to: (a) submit false or misleading information; (b) attempt to circumvent, hack, or reverse-engineer any Platform component; (c) use automated scripts or bots without written authorisation.

7. Intellectual Property

All Platform content, branding, software and AI training data are the exclusive property of iGuy Digital S.L. (in formation) or its licensors. Unauthorised reproduction is prohibited.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, iGuy, its operators, employees and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages arising from your use of the Platform or reliance on its content.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Spain, specifically the autonomous community of Catalonia. Disputes shall be submitted to the competent courts of Girona, Spain.

2. Naturaleza del Servicio — Plataforma Agregadora

iGuy opera exclusivamente como una plataforma de agregación de información y asistencia mediante IA. La Plataforma no posee, opera ni gestiona ningún establecimiento listado. No actúa como agente de reservas ni intermediario para ninguna transacción comercial. No garantiza la exactitud, integridad o actualidad de la información sobre establecimientos.

3. Contenido Generado por IA — Exención de Responsabilidad

Las respuestas de iGuy son generadas por modelos de lenguaje de inteligencia artificial. Al usar este servicio, usted reconoce explícitamente que las respuestas pueden contener inexactitudes, alucinaciones o información desactualizada. Debe verificar de forma independiente toda información crítica antes de tomar decisiones. iGuy y sus operadores no aceptan ninguna responsabilidad por pérdidas, daños o inconvenientes derivados del uso del contenido generado por IA.

4. Ley Aplicable

Estas Condiciones se rigen por las leyes de España, específicamente la comunidad autónoma de Cataluña. Las controversias se someterán a los tribunales competentes de Girona, España.

5. Third-Party Services

• Groq Inc. — AI language model processing (USA). Data transfers to Groq are governed by Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) under GDPR Art. 46(2)(c). Groq's Data Processing Agreement and SCCs are available at groq.com/privacy-policy.
• Google LLC — Sheets (data storage), Maps, Fonts (EU Standard Contractual Clauses)
• Telegram Messenger — Admin operations only; no user data transmitted

6. Your Rights (GDPR)

As an EU/EEA resident you have the right to:

• Access — request a copy of your data
• Erasure — request deletion ("right to be forgotten")
• Portability — receive your data in a structured format
• Objection — object to processing based on legitimate interest
• Complaint — lodge a complaint with the AEPD (Spain's data protection authority)

7. Data Security

All data is stored on EU-hosted servers. Transmission is encrypted via TLS 1.3. Access to production systems is restricted to authorised personnel only. We conduct periodic security reviews.

8. Future Paid Services

If you subscribe to premium iGuy services (VIP passes, subscriptions), your billing data will be processed exclusively by PCI-DSS compliant payment processors (e.g., Stripe). iGuy will never store raw payment card data.

Interés legítimo (análisis, mejora de plataforma), consentimiento (GPS, comunicaciones), ejecución de contrato (servicios de pago futuros).
